The US Patent and Trademark Office and the Department of Commerce have launched a Women’s Entrepreneurship initiative in service of women founders, according to a Wednesday press release.

The program plans to increase equity, job creation, and economic prosperity for women in entrepreneurship, said the agency.

Included in WE is an online platform that provides information on how to get started, identifying and protecting intellectual property, options for raising funds, and building a network, the PTO said.
