Patent Office Extends Covid Fast-Track Examination Pilot Program

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office will continue its program allowing faster examination of inventions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to an upcoming Federal Register notice.

The deadline to submit applications to the pilot program will now end March 31, after the office previously set the end date for Friday, according to a notice to be published Thursday in the Federal Register.
