Stewart in April ruled that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board erred in denying patent owner Greenthread LLC’s discovery request into petitioner Semiconductor Components Industries LLC. She vacated the board’s decision invalidating Greenthread’s invention, and ordered discovery.
