Patent Defendant Said to Launch ‘Vicious’ Strike at Law Firm

A Texas law firm can proceed with a suit in Missouri federal court accusing Mycroft AI Inc., its founder, and its chief executive of unleashing an “aggressive information warfare campaign” against the firm after Mycroft was sued for alleged patent infringement.

Tumey LLP represented Voice Tech Corp. in a patent dispute over Mycroft smart speakers. The firm and managing partner Tod Tumey sued Mycroft, founder Joshua Montgomery, and CEO Michael Lewis in February, alleging a “vicious, relentless, and escalating campaign of assaults” in retaliation for the patent litigation.
