Patagonia Accuses Nordstrom of Selling Counterfeit Sweatshirts

Patagonia Inc. filed a lawsuit against Nordstrom Inc. alleging that the department store chain began selling counterfeit Patagonia-branded apparel after the end of a years-long dealer relationship between the companies.

Patagonia discovered “obvious” counterfeit sweatshirts and t-shirts being sold this year in Nordstrom Rack stores, even though Nordstrom is aware of what genuine Patagonia products look like, according to in the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California on Tuesday.
