Finjan Inc.'s computer antivirus patent survived another round of attacks by rival cybersecurity firm
The Patent Trial and Appeal Board upheld claims of U.S. Patent No. 8,141,154, related to protection against dynamically generated malicious code or viruses, over Palo Alto’s arguments the invention was obvious. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit agreed in an nonprecedential opinion Wednesday.
