Owner of Golf Guide Strackaline Beats Defamation Claims

The owner and employees of golf greens guide Elite Golf Technology LLC, known as Strackaline, shook off defamation claims by competitor Elite Golf Technology LLC after the Southern District of Texas found Monday that they have insufficient contacts with the state.

Competitive Golf alleged Strackaline’s owner, James Stracka, and its employees, Chase Stracka and Justin Porter, made defamatory remarks about Competitive Golf’s managing members, Dave Macpherson and Andrew Tredway, both former Strackaline employees.
