Oura Health Oy won an order blocking infringing imports of smart rings from Ultrahuman and RingConn after a US trade agency credited its investment in domestic design and support and found consumers have alternatives including Oura’s own products.
Ultrahuman Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.’s Ring Air and the first- and second-generation rings made by Guangdong Jiu Zhi Technology Co. and its US subsidiary RingConn infringe US Patent No. 11,868,178, according to a redacted opinion the US International Trade Commission released Sept. 5.
