Otsuka, MSN Labs End Patent Suit Over Lonsurf Cancer Drug Copy

Otsuka Holdings Co.'s Taiho unit and MSN Laboratories Private Ltd. agreed to end a lawsuit over the validity of two patents MSN Labs had conceded that its copy of the cancer drug Lonsurf infringes, three weeks after a federal judge nixed a bench trial.

Both sides dropped all claims, counterclaims, and defenses regarding US Patent Nos. 10,456,399 and 10,960,004, closing the door on renewing any allegations, according to a stipulation and dismissal order Judge Jennifer L. Hall issued Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
