Oracle Sues Crypto Company Again Over Trademark Violation Claims

Oracle Corp. returned to California federal court to accuse a cryptocurrency company of violating a settlement and injunction four years after a judge to prohibited it from infringing Oracle’s trademarks.

Crypto Oracle LLC and its owner Louis Kerner have not only resumed violating Oracle’s trademark rights, but also are “egregiously and flagrantly” violating the settlement agreement and the court’s injunction, according to a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.

Oracle and Oracle International Corp. alleged nine claims, including trademark infringement and civil contempt of the California federal court’s injunction.
