Oracle Accused of Ripping Off OptiMorphix’s Bytemobile Patents

OptiMorphix Inc. filed suit accusing Oracle Corp. of utilizing groundbreaking mobile video and web optimization technologies originally developed by Bytemobile Inc. it now holds patents to “without paying a reasonable royalty.”

Some 59 of Oracle’s US patent applications cite Bytemobile innovations from the Delaware-based patent-monetization company’s extensive portfolio, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
