OpenEvidence Drops Pathway Trade-Secrets Suit After Acquisition

OpenEvidence dropped one of its three lawsuits over allegedly stolen medical-AI trade secrets after Pathway Medical Inc. was bought by Doximity Inc., a defendant in one of its other cases.

The medical tech company cited the acquisition announced in August in its Thursday notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. It had sued Pathway in February, months before filing June lawsuits against Doximity and Veracity-Health Inc. featuring similar allegations.
