OpenAI Hit With Another Wide-Ranging Lawsuit Over Web Scraping

OpenAI LP is facing another class action alleging its “unprecedented” web scraping practices used to cull training data for its AI programs violate a range of property and privacy laws.

The 120-plus page complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California Tuesday comes months after the company was hit with a nearly identical web scraping suit filed in the same district by a different law firm.
