One OpenAI Entity Dropped From Coding Copyright Suit (Correct)

OpenAI Investment LLC was dropped from a copyright lawsuit from a group of open-source programmers after they voluntarily dismissed their case against the the corporate entity in federal court.

The programmers still have their case against a number of other OpenAI corporate entities, including the primary nonprofit OpenAI Inc., and the capped profit entity OpenAI Global LLC, which has recieved major investments from Microsoft Corp.

GitHub Inc. and parent company Microsoft, which collaborated with OpenAI in developing the tool, also face the lawsuit.
