OpenAI Buys Tech Talk Show TBPN in Rare Move Into Media (1)

OpenAI has acquired the online technology talk show TBPN, an unusual purchase for the artificial intelligence model developer aimed at driving the conversation around AI.

OpenAI and TBPN didn’t disclose the terms of the deal. The show will sit within OpenAI’s “strategy org,” reporting into chief global affairs officer Chris Lehane, according to a message from OpenAI Chief Executive Officer of Applications Fidji Simo.
