Ocado Takes Aim at AutoStore Patent at U.S. Review Board

Ocado has asked the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board to take a second look at one of AutoStore Technology’s patents for a robotic warehouse system.

  • In a petition filed Monday with the review board, Ocado says Autostore’s patent 10,294,025, issued in May 2019, is “neither new nor inventive”
  • Patent covers remotely operated robots that pick up storage bins from a grid storage system
