NXP Semiconductors Netherlands B.V. owes Impinj Inc. $2 million for infringing three radio frequency identification technology patents, a Texas federal jury found Thursday.
The jury in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas determined that Impinj’s patents are valid and that the company didn’t infringe patents exclusively licensed by NPX after a trial that opened Oct. 30 in Waco.
