Nvidia, Dell Hit With Patent Suit Over Computer Processing Tech

A patent licensing firm sued Nvidia Corp. and Dell Technologies Inc. over creating and selling networking and AI products using processing units.

Nvidia and Dell’s products, including their AI Data Platform and AI Factory products, use similar methods for performance and security systems for central processing units as those described by SpeedNIC LLC’s five patents, according to a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
