Nordstrom Sued Over Website’s ‘Recently Viewed’ Product Feature

A feature of Nordstrom Inc.‘s website that allows users to return to the page they were previously browsing infringes Recog IP LLC’s patent for the same technology, a federal lawsuit alleged.

Recog sued Nordstrom in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas Thursday, accusing the department store chain of operating a website that violates Recog’s exclusive right to commercialize its patented return-to-webpage feature.
