NordicTrack Maker Icon Hits Peloton With Fourth Patent Suit

NordicTrack maker Icon Health & Fitness said the Auto-Follow feature of Peloton’s Bike+, paired with the bike’s weight cradle and its associated app, infringes a recently issued Icon patent.

  • Icon is seeking cash compensation in an amount to be determined at trial and a court order blocking further unauthorized use of the invention, according to complaint filed Wednesday in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware
    • Icon also asked the court to impose a “constructive trust” on -- and a full accounting of -- sales made by Peloton as a result of infringing acts, complaint says
