Nokia Settles Patent Suit Over AT&T, Verizon 5G Base Stations

Pegasus Wireless Innovations LLC and Nokia of America Corp. settled patent infringement allegations concerning 5G network base stations used by the telecommunications company’s wireless carrier customers.

The agreement is limited to claims based on Nokia’s products sold to AT&T Corp., T-Mobile US Inc., and Cellco Partnership, doing business as Verizon, and the supplier’s counterclaims, according to joint motions filed Wednesday and Thursday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Nokia and Pegasus asked the court for a 30-day stay so that they can finalize the settlement and submit dismissal papers.
