Nokia Settles Collision Communications Patent Infringement Suit

Nokia Corp. and related companies settled a lawsuit filed by a New Hampshire-based telecommunications firm over alleged infringement of a group of patents related to 3G and 4G LTE wireless technology.

Collision Communications Inc. and the Finnish telecom company filed a joint motion Friday, asking Judge Rodney Gilstrap of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to pause all deadlines in the case to allow the litigants “to finalize the settlement of this matter and file appropriate dismissal paper.”
