Nintendo Gets $10 Million Wii Remote Patent Verdict Reversed

iLife Technologies Inc.'s $10.1 million patent infringement verdict against Nintendo of America over Nintendo’s motion-detecting Wii controllers was reversed by a Dallas federal court judge.

iLife’s patent was invalid because it covered an abstract idea, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas said Friday.
