NIH Eyeing August to End Protests on $50 Billion IT Contracts

More than 100 protests filed against the $50 billion-per-contract Chief Information Officer–Solutions and Partners 4 solicitation could be resolved by August, according to a National Institutes of Health program official.

Ricky Clark, deputy director of NIH’s Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center, told Bloomberg Government last week that the final number of awardees likely will change less than 10% compared to the initial roster.

Wrapping up final evaluations and awarding slots on the IT services vehicle in time for the end of the fiscal year would only happen if the Government Accountability Office’s protest decisions don’t require significant bid changes ...
