Nielsen Sues VideoAmp Over Patent After Prior Case Tossed (1)

A unit of TV-ratings firm Nielsen Co. US LLC accused VideoAmp Inc. of patent infringement in a new federal lawsuit filed two days after a federal judge threw out its earlier patent suit against the rival measurement company.

VideoAmp’s out-of-home viewership-measurement product infringes US Patent No. 12,063,402, titled “Methods and Apparatus to Correlate Census Measurement Data with Panel Data,” Nielsen alleged in a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
