New York Company Sues Meta and LinkedIn Over Messaging Patent

A Long Island company filed a trio of lawsuits alleging that Meta Platforms Inc., LinkedIn Corp., and Cisco Systems Inc. infringe its messaging patent.

The company, Gatekeeper Solutions Inc., owns US Patent No. 9,032,038, which describes technology for preventing the sending of electronic messages to unintended recipients and for the deletion of messages sent to the wrong person.
