Neurent Hits Aerin With Suit on New Nasal-Treatment Patents (1)

Aerin Medical Inc.’s RhinAer System for treating chronic nasal inflammation to improve sleep infringes three Neurent Medical Ltd. patents issued since last week covering its Neuromark System, a federal lawsuit said.

Aerin’s system—which includes a multi-electrode RhinAer Stylus Model FG 1393 and Console Model FG225—infringes US Patent Nos. 12,096,973, 12,096,974, and 12,089,889, according to a complaint filed Sept. 24 in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. Each covers systems and methods for using a handheld device for a therapeutic nasal treatment, it said.
