Netskope Granted Tribunal Review of Fortinet Security Patent

Netskope Inc. convinced the Patent Trial and Appeal Board to review a Fortinet Inc. patent related to protecting cloud storage users from accessing malware-infected files.

The software company provided sufficient evidence to demonstrate a reasonable likelihood of success in challenging at least one of the claims for US Patent No. 11,036,856, the board said Wednesday.
