Netflix, Zac Efron Hit With Trademark Suit Over “Down to Earth”

Netflix Inc., actor Zac Efron and podcast host Darin Olien are facing a trademark infringement lawsuit in New York federal court over Netflix’s “Down to Earth” documentary series.

Down to Earth Organics (DTE), which produces health-related media content and health-focused iced teas and clothes, claimed that the Netflix series, in which Efron stars, infringes its trademarks, which have been in use since 2018.
