Netflix Sues ‘Unofficial Bridgerton Musical’ Over IP Violations

Netflix Worldwide Entertainment is accusing the creators behind the “The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical Album Live in Concert” of copyright and trademark infringement, according to a lawsuit filed in a Washington, D.C., federal court.

Abigail Barlow, Emily Bear, and their companies staged a “massive, for-profit stage show” at the Kennedy Center in Washington over Netflix’s “repeated objections,” the streaming service and production company said in a Friday complaint to the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
