Netflix Ends Broadcom, VMware Patent Suit Over Cloud Technology

Netflix Inc., Broadcom Inc., and VMware LLC asked a federal judge to dismiss their dispute over patents covering central unit processing technology.

Judge P. Casey Pitts accepted their joint stipulation of dismissal, with prejudice, and entered a judgment dated Sept. 19 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
