Nespresso, Williams-Sonoma Agree to Coffee Pod Suit Dismissal

A lawsuit Nespresso USA Inc. filed against Williams-Sonoma, Inc. alleging trademark infringement of coffee pod capsules and marketing was voluntarily dismissed in a New York federal court.

The companies agreed to the dismissal with prejudice, and Judge Loretta A. Preska of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York approved. No details were given. Attorneys for Nespresso and Williams-Sonoma didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.
