A company that provided light-up flooring used for basketball courts at the NBA’s All-Star Game and the University of Kentucky’s Rupp Arena copied protected technology, a lawsuit alleged.
In a lawsuit filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, Inventvest LLC accused ASB GlassFloor America Inc. and its German parent company of making or selling an LED-video sports floor made of glass that infringed US Patent No. 7,918,579.
