A Delaware federal judge slashed $10 million from Natera Inc.’s patent verdict against Invitae Corp. over cancer-monitoring DNA tests but upheld infringement findings and awarded additional damages and a 30% ongoing royalty.
Judge Gregory B. Williams reduced the jury’s $19.4 million damages award against Invitae and its ArcherDx Inc. unit by eliminating damages tied to some cancer-testing products in a mixed ruling on post-trial motions Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
