X Corp. settled claims against an Israeli data company after reviving contract claims in what had started as a copyright suit over data scraping.
X and Bright Data Ltd. filed a joint stipulation Saturday to cancel a Thursday hearing, giving them 10 days to finalize a settlement in the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Judge William Alsup granted the request and paused the case later in the day.
Bright Data CEO Or Lenchner said in a statement that the terms were confidential, but that it would continue offering its services.
