Recording artists Dionne Warwick, Booker T. Jones, and other music industry representatives urged the House Judiciary Committee during a Jan. 26 hearing in New York to move forward with legislation to resolve music licensing issues.
Resolving these disputes would allow streaming services to more easily identify rights holders and gain clearance to use their music, and increase the opportunity for musicians, producers and other professionals to get paid fairly for their work.
