Online music and art creator Moxifloxi filed suit accusing an unknown internet user of hijacking his content and identity in a new publicity rights and fraud compliant in California federal court.
The “John Doe” re-uploaded online content and posed as Moxifloxi, the pseudonym used by Thomas Bost III, to solicit paid subscriptions and donations to a fraudulent GoFundMe campaign, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
