Verity Global Solutions LLC accused its former chief operating officer of starting a rival mortgage-services outsourcing business with a major client while he was still working at Verity.
Verity—which provides mortgage and loan purchasing services—said its former chief operating officer Chetan Patel violated his two-year, non-compete agreement by forming direct competitor, GenWorks Global Solutions LLC before he left Verity, according to a complaint filed in US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
