Alnylam Pharmaceuticals Inc. dropped a lawsuit against Moderna Inc. over delivery technology used in its Covid-19 vaccine, acknowledging a federal judge’s interpretation of a disputed term in the case’s remaining patent means Moderna’s shot doesn’t infringe.

Judge Colm F. Connolly approved the companies’ request to dismiss the case without prejudice, enabling Alnylam to refile, according to a final judgment issued Wednesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
