Miltenyi Biotec BV & Co. KG filed a lawsuit in a Delaware federal court alleging that RWD Life Science Inc.’s automatic tissue-processing instrument, which can process animal tissue blocks into single-cell suspension, infringes a patent for the technology.
Miltenyi, based in Germany, seeks damages of at least a reasonable royalty for RWD’s sales of its DSC-400 single-cell suspension dissociator, which it says infringes the patent, according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
