Discovery in the copyright case against Miley Cyrus for her song “Flowers” will be split to first address liability and then damages, a Los Angeles federal judge ordered.
Judge Dean D. Pregerson granted the motion to bifurcate discovery during a hearing Monday in the US District Court for the Central District of California, saying he’s reluctant to grant such motions but found it necessary given the case.
