Mike Huckabee Sues Meta Over Fake CBD Gummy Endorsement Ads

Former Arkansas Governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee sued Meta Platforms Inc. arguing a slew of fake ads on its platform falsely identified him as a consumer of CBD gummies without his consent.

Huckabee, a Baptist minister and media personality, said Meta is at fault for this erroneous association with the cannabidiol industry and marijuana use “because Meta approved and maintained advertisements that unauthorizedly used and exploited” his name, photograph, and likeness, according to the complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
