A federal judge granted a request from Midjourney Inc. and the Hollywood studios suing it to consolidate two copyright infringement cases over its AI image and video generator.

Disney Enterprises Inc.‘s and Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.‘s lawsuits involve similar facts and claims and would require the court to make similar rulings, the companies said in a joint stipulation to consolidate cases filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
