Micron Hit With Patent Lawsuit Over Computer-Memory Products

Advanced Memory Technologies LLC filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Micron Technology Inc. alleging that Micron’s semiconductor memory products infringe four AMT patents.

The complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas alleges infringement of US Patent Nos. 7,920,018, 7,969,231, 8,519,778, and 8,593,888, which relate to booster circuits, internal voltage generating circuits, and semiconductor integrated circuits used in NAND flash memory and DRAM modules. AMT asserts that Micron’s accused NAND flash and DRAM products contain infringing circuit structures covered by the asserted patents.
