Michigan, Mexican Companies Settle Dragon-Branded Alcohol Suit

The maker of Dragon’s Milk beer and liquor and the seller of Casa Dragones tequila settled their trademark dispute in Michigan federal court.

Dragon’s Milk parent company New Holland IP LLC and Playa Holdings Corp. filed a joint stipulation to dismiss Monday, which was quickly granted by Judge Robert J. Jonker of the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

Counsel for both parties didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Dragon’s Milk, based in Holland, Mich., said it has sold Dragon’s Milk-branded beer products since 2001, and has branched out to liquor, cigars, and other products. It’s ...
