MiBev, AO Smith Drop Water Filtration Patent Dispute

MiBev Creations LLC and AO Smith Water Treatment (North America) Inc. agreed to drop their patent dispute concerning a water filtration system.

Beverage appliance startup MiBev and AO Smith requested dismissal with prejudice, according to a stipulation filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas. MiBev said in a March 7 motion to dismiss it agreed to drop the lawsuit and not make new allegations against AO Smith’s products involving the “entire patent family” which includes US Patent No. 11,235,267.
