Immersion Corp. filed a second lawsuit against
Meta allegedly infringed U.S. Patent Nos. 8,469,806, 9,727,217, 10,248,298, 10,269,222, and 10,664,143 with the Quest 3 headset by creating and selling video game systems, controllers, games, and applications that use similar haptic feedback technology, according to a complaint filed Friday in the US District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Haptic feedback provides users “touch or tactile sensations,” such as vibrations.
