Perceptix Technologies LLC accused Meta’s AR glasses of infringing US Patent No. 7,596,393, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California. The patent covers a wearable communication device that uses electromyography—or EMG—sensors to interpret hand motions as input signals. Bloomberg Law estimates a May 2028 expiration.
