Meta Platforms Inc. placed Walmart and Tinder’s ads next to explicit material on the company’s social media sites, including adjacent to predatory imagery of children, according to new evidence added to a lawsuit from the New Mexico attorney general.
New documents in the state’s case against the internet giant provide a glimpse into tense communications between Meta and advertisers troubled by alarming evidence of illicit content near their ads.
