Messi Sports Drink Doesn’t Rip Off Prime Trade Dress, Suit Says

The hydration drink “Mas+ by Messi” made in collaboration with soccer superstar Lionel Messi doesn’t infringe the look of influencer Logan Paul’s company’s “Prime” energy and hydration drinks, according to a federal lawsuit.

Prime Hydration LLC, partly owned by Paul, has repeatedly threatened to sue over commonplace trade dress elements, Mark Anthony International SRL said in a Tuesday complaint in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
